Chinese Phrases for Valentine’s Day


Happy Valentine’s Day 2013! Valentine’s Day is a popular holiday in Chinese speaking countries and regions like China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and many more. Who wouldn’t like celebrating love with chocolate, roses and other gifts and treats?

To get you started off right, here are some Chinese phrases that might be useful to you this 情人節 (qing ren jie is Mandarin for Valentine’s Day):

情人節快樂 (qing ren jie kuai le) = Happy Valentine’s Day
我愛你 (wo ai ni) = I love you
下次買巧克力給我吧!(xia ci mai qiao ke li gei wo ba) = Next time buy me chocolate!
